Overnight Stay Program

When: Beginning of Spring Quarter

The Scholars Society Overnight Stay Program (OSP) is a program for admitted Regents Scholars to experience what life is like as a Scholar here at UC San Diego. Participants take part in a variety of activities and get to know the campus better. Highlights include lab tours, student panels, student performances, and dinner. Participants are housed overnight with current Scholars in on-campus residence halls or apartments.

Legacy Lecture Award

When: Spring Quarter

Legacy Lecture is a faculty award and all-campus, community-wide event wholly based on student voting regarding who they would like to hear present on the topic, If this were your last lecture, what would you want to share with everyone?

Fall Quarter Reception

When: Beginning of Fall Quarter

A chance for the scholars on campus to get dressed up, catch up with old scholar friends & meet some new ones, and enjoy dinner and desserts with good company. The night includes speakers from the Vice Chancellor's Office & the Office of Academic Enrichment and features performances from various student groups on campus. The fall quarter reception is a great way to kick off a new school year.

When: Middle of Spring Quarter

An annual event where Regents’ scholars from across the UC campuses congregate at one campus for networking, leadership development, and team-building activities. This year's host is UCLA!

End of the Year Banquet

When: End of Spring Quarter

A chance to celebrate an amazing year of events and fun with Scholars Society. Dine with your favorite scholar friends for one last time of the school year, say goodbye to graduating senior scholars, and find out who won the coveted scholar superlative awards. Next year's executive and general board is also presented at the end of the year banquet.
